- Biography
Yi Zhao received his PhD from Rutgers University in 2001, under the supervision of Endre Szemeredi (2012 Abel Prize Laureate). After spending three years at the University of Illinois at Chicago as a Research Assistant Professor, he became a tenure-track Assistant Professor at GSU in 2005. He was promoted to an Associate Professor in 2011, and a professor in 2016. His research has been supported by National Science Foundation, National Security Agency, and Simons Foundation.
