Biography

Dr. Belykh is a Full Professor of Applied Mathematics with a joint appointment at the Neuroscience Institute at Georgia State University. He is an Associate Member of the Center for Nonlinear Science at Georgia Institute of Technology.

His research interests lie in bio- and applied mathematics, mathematical neuroscience, and biological and technological networks.

Dr. Belykh is on the Editorial Board of six international journals, including three major applied mathematics and engineering journals such as the SIAM Journal on Applied Dynamical Systems, the International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, and the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers, where he received the Best Associate Editor Award for the 2012–2013 term.

Dr. Belykh’s research is supported by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Army Research Office.
